Open Boglr, go to the Subscriptions or Transactions tab, and tap Connect a bank. We use Plaid to connect securely to over 12,000 institutions in the US. Boglr never sees or stores your bank password.
Boglr syncs transactions from Plaid in the background whenever your bank reports new activity. If a transaction looks missing, pull down to refresh on the Transactions screen. If it still doesn't appear after a few hours, your institution may be in a temporary error state — try the Reconnect option on the affected account in Settings.
Boglr looks at your transaction history and identifies merchants you pay on a recurring schedule (monthly, yearly, or every few months). You can manually mark any merchant as recurring or non-recurring from the transaction detail view.
Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep Pro access until then.
In the iOS app, go to Settings → Restore Purchases. This re-syncs your App Store subscription with your Boglr account.
Open the Boglr app → Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes all of your data — transactions, connected institutions, profile, and subscription state. Account deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
You can also request deletion by emailing admin@boglr.com from the address associated with your account.
Yes. Bank credentials are never sent to or stored by Boglr — they are handled exclusively by Plaid, our connectivity provider. Transaction data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not sell your data to third parties.
